Inside Sue's Creative Writing Journey

I think the best way to share big ideas is through fiction and poetry.

I’m working to develop my skills in both those areas. This is the place for my readers to keep up with all that’s new in my writing world.

Scroll down to see what’s happening.

We just launched Dust Up: An Anthology by New Mexico Writers

The Kooks Writer's’ Group has been meeting in Santa Fe, NM for about seven years. In that time we have supported and encouraged each other on our writing journeys. Stories and poems created by the Kooks have won multiple prizes and been included in journals and anthologies.

We decided to create a collection to include both our prize-winning pieces and other works by our stalwart members. Dust Up is the result.

I think you’ll love these stories, poems, and creative non-fiction pieces. Grab yourself a copy, hunker down with a cuppa and be prepared to be transported to the mystical realms.

Portals: Energetic Doorways to Mystical Experiences Between Worlds

By Freddy Silva, Bestselling Author and leading researcher of sacred sights

I am honored to have my story, The Mother Portal included in this magical anthology of true stories that take place in the liminal realms.

The publisher of this book, Sacred Sentience, is a leader in publishing, not just the stories of the famous, but the stories of the you-and-me types. I love hearing about the experiences others have with the non-ordinary, the stories I would never otherwise hear. I know you will enjoy this too.

Godtalk: Experiences of Humanity’s Connection with a Higher Power

by Neale Donald Walsch

If you have read any of Neale Donald Walsche’s books in the Conversations With God series, you’ll love these stories too.

I am honored to have my story, Wear Skirts, included in this inspiring anthology.

Coming Up

You will be able to read my story, Winning, in the September issue of Symphonies of Imagination. It is a tale of a future time when young girls might just have what it takes to save the world from the insanity of war.

This is not a complete and totally accurate accounting because I did not start paying attention to my submissions until quite a ways into my commitment to my writing. But I want to start somewhere, and this is as accurate as it’s going to get.
